Within the Yamnin system, isolated for eons in the subspace, the true principles of the Imperium endure. The Ogryns of Yamnin enjoy relatively fair treatment, working primarily in agriculture but also forming a significant part of the Astra Militarum as dedicated Grenadiers. Many serve under smart commanders as loyal bodyguards.
As the frontline of the Yamnin forces, Ogryn Grenadiers wield heavy plaststeel ballistic shields and are outfitted with standard Yamnin-Style Plaststeel Armor. This combination grants them significantly higher survivability compared to other Astra Militarum regiments, especially when taking cover. Armed with the Double-Headed Revolving Grenade Launcher, they can unleash devastating area-of-effect damage from the Great Wall of Yamnin.
Additionally, their shields can be used to create makeshift cover for the human Astra Militarum troops, providing mobile protection. The Grenadiers also excel in close combat, using their grenade launchers to inflict severe melee damage, ensuring that the Yamnin line holds firm against assaults. As a result, Ogryns are highly respected and cherished within Yamnin, repaying this loyalty with their unwavering commitment and serving as shields for those they protect.
Double-Headed Revolving Grenade Launcher
An incredibly durable weapon with a revolving mechanism that fires grenades from both ends. Designed for simplicity over precision, the barrel serves as a massive ceramite club, capable of delivering devastating blows in close combat, even able to wound a Chaos Space Marine in one strike. In emergencies, Space Marines can also wield it.
Gigantic Plaststeel Ballistic Shield
An affordable heavy-duty plaststeel shield, thick enough to absorb medium to heavy fire and melee assaults. When several Ogryns line up, they can create a solid shield wall for further protection.
Yamnin-Style Plaststeel Armor
Styled with Yamnin and Kustom Kulture influences, this armor is effective against light ranged fire and mitigates medium firepower. It can also block some melee attacks. For added protection, simply stack more layers or switch to thicker plaststeel plates.
